Dealing with one of my sacrifices right now

A long time ago we gave up our satellite dish and went with $12/month basic cable in an effort to reduce expenses. I don’t regret the decision one bit, except for tonight. I’m a huge Nascar fan, and unable to watch the best race of the year. I’m sitting here at home with my laptop trying to follow it with Nascar.com’s live leaderboard web application, but it just ain’t the same.

I gave up cable and internet for debt reduction…and I’m desperate for even basic cable! I’m sorry you’re missing the NASCAR race…
